For Filth's 53rd release we welcome our good friend Stampatron back with his first solo EP. Stampatron is a living legend around the South west party scene who has literally played everywhere: from festivals like Booomtown Fair & VegFest; to hosting radio shows on NSBRadio & Southwest Underground; to curating his own amazing Gobbstopper nights and numerous raves on the Blackdown Hills back in the day. As a DJ he was always one to get the crowd going wild; whether it be playing dirty tech house, groovey breakbeat or bleepy electro; his repertoire even runs through to conscious reggae and liquid Drum n Bass. He is one super talented DJ who is now shining with his production work in the studio. Inspired by the crypto-currency & blockchain technological revolution, Tales from the Crypto comprises 3 original breakbeat productions and a chunky, funky 4x4 remix by Filth Infatuated's Kev D. Cardano is a nod to his breakstep roots; rolling drums, thick bass stabs and a bare groove to ignite any dancefloor. Chainlink takes its cue from heavily filtered tracks like the classic 'Dooms Night' by Adizzo de Bass; syncopated drums and modulated bass make for a peak-time warehouse steppa. Quantstamp draws its influences from the likes of Orbital's psychedelic sound and modern tech-funk breaks a la Meat Katie; a pounding rhythm section layered with arps and 808's. Early support from: Boglin, Chris Dormer [BSE Music], Clarkee [Area 51], DJ Rosco [NSB Radio], DJ K.N (Mass United), Dr Motte, Geck-o / The Funky Cat, Ian Void, John Rowe [Hypnohouse Trax], John Warwick [Primate], Lasawers, Louk, Luigi Madonna, Mark Neenan, Mr Spring [2FM], Nori [Posivision], Wayne DJC [Beyond Control]
