The road to LUNR's Path of Totality has been a long and adventurous one, full of release date and track list changes, vocal and extended versions and revisions, but we've finally arrived at its unveiling. Following the release of 'Oblivion' on the heralded Astralwerks Records' White Label imprint, LUNR returns with a four-part saga of dark and melodic electronic music . 'Sea of Tranquility' is the gorgeously cinematic evolution of what was once just an ambient intro piece. Max Comeau's eerie yet soothing whispers balance out the jarring synth and effect work in 'Shadows', while in 'Runaway' Numa's entrancing voice guides our escape alongside proper progressive electro house a la 2009 deadmau5. The Astralwerks-approved Oblivion closes out the EP in badass-guitar-riff fashion. All in all, LUNR is one DJ/producer/studio whiz/force-to-be-reckoned-with that we're proud to now officially call one of our own. As they say, good things come to those who wait.
