My Carts

Created in 2007, lead by Acumen (Antoine Garcin) and Timid Boy (Damien Almira, ex second Chief Editor of Trax Magazine), Time Has Changed quickly established itself as a leading light of the new French deep house/techno generation. With the label's first releases in 2007, Time Has Changed drew the attention of the very best Dj's and producers with the releases "No Matter" by Sebastien Thibaud and "Lotus EP" by Nhar, supported by the icons Miss Kittin and Laurent Garnier. 2009 saw the label grow at high speed. All the releases went in the charts of the best record shops (Beatport, Decks….) and were regularly played by the best DJs (Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Luciano, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Ellen Allien, Anja Schneider, Joris Voorn, Chloé, SeboK, Raresh, Danton Eeprom, Dop…). In February 2010, the Acumen & Timid Boy's 12" " Chicago Story " (remix by Oxia) reaches n°1 on Junodownload (all categories charts) and n° 8 on Beatport (tech house charts)! The first EP of the new label A.Music (Sorin & Doru "Namtobor - Uner Remix") entered directly the Top 20 Decks, all categories! At the same time, Acumen & Timid Boy saw their solo career progress quickly. Acumen signed on big labels as Leena, Diynamic or Area Remote, and techno's master Richie Hawtin declared Acumen as his "revelation of 2009" !Discovered in 2003 with his DJ residency at Rex Club for the BPitch Control parties, Timid Boy quickly established himself as a great value of the Parisian scene. He has already played with some of the biggest Dj's (Jeff Mills, Ellen Allien, Tiefschwarz, Booka Shade, Supermayer, Francois K, Larry Heard, Paul Kalkbrenner…). Damien is also a very well known French musical journalist (in the past ten years he worked for well-known French publications, such as Rock & Folk, and was deputy editor of Trax magazine). This enables a deeper understanding and appreciation of electronic music, and this rich and strong heritage illuminates his productions. In 2009, his first productions (on Barraca, Time Has Changed, Isgud, Percusa…) have found high acclaim from the best DJs. Timid Boy also releases his music on Bitten (the new 2000 and One's label), Darkroom Dubs (Silicone Soul's label), Barraca (Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Radio Slave, Fanny Fiddo…) Suara (Coyu's label) or Jay Haze's label TuningSpork….The label's other artist highlights are many: the young Romanian house killer Mihai Popoviciu ; the Italian revelation Nico Lahs, the new Greek generation V Sexion and John Dimas. The label welcomes on his family many remixers as Oxia, Kiki, Glimpse, Alex Celler, Daniel Sanchez, Uner, Gorge…After the " Overview " compilation and the summer break, Time Has Changed will be back in force with new EPs from John Dimas (& Boris Horel rmx), Marcus Vector & Sierra Sam, Alex Costa…
