Our next release comes from Italian production trio M.F.S: Observatory and includes remixes from Lee Walker, Ben Jones & Julian Collazos. The duo are no strangers to Roush, with several releases already attached to the label they return with their 'Me Time' EP which features two great originals and three hot remixes. Kicking things off, the title track sets the tone with heavy, techno-fragranced kicks, melodic sub stabs, spaced out FX and warped synths. The track is driven by a trippy vocal line which charms you into a state of tech house-assisted hypnosis. Following up, 'Glitch' is a driving number. Its perfectly symmetrical kick and pulsating bassline combination immediately grab your attention. From then on in, the track builds progressively with supplemental layers that complement each other; adding endless energy throughout the journey of the track. Now time for the remixes. First up, Lee Walker's adaptation of the title track oozes his signature bumpy garage-house style. Keeping all the spacey trippiness of the original but putting his firm stamp on the track and adding some serious weight to it in the process. Ben Jones is next in line with another remix of 'Me Time', this time taking the form of an essentially Roush-sounding tech weapon. Shuffled rhythm, robust beats and rolling bass; all the critical ingredients for a playlist filler! Finishing off the release, Julian Callazos' remix of the b-side track 'Glitch' will have you on your toes from the first 4 bars. Loaded to the ceiling with groove, attitude and charm; this punchy, peak time treat comes armed with a level of individuality that makes it stand out from the crowd.
