Promo Review.

Hosting both Freerange's monthly radio show and AKA residencies, Mr Masters has been nurturing his presence in the scene since 2004. Production wise, his work has been released as remixes on Freerange Records, Pacha, Berwick Street and forthcoming remixes on Elevation and Urban Torque, without forgetting his debut EP on Urban Torque "Walk the Walk". In addition to his solo work he is currently enjoying the release of the Joints From The Lab EP with Mr Cenzo under their MidiDropMusic guise on Glideslope Records with forthcoming remixes and releases due on TriCircle, Adjust and Nacho Marco’s Loudeast Records.

Milton Jackson has become a firm representative of the deep house soldiers - his productions have been featured on all sorts of profound labels such as UrbanTorque, Freerange and Tronicsole.

1."Deep Or What": Edgy and freakishly funky, Matt Masters reveals beeps and blops catching instant attention. Spread like a perfect enjoyable nuisance - this cut has a flagrant capturing groove.

2."Deep or What" (Milton Jackson Remix): Milton instantly turns the original within his all famous trademark. Highs and lows with keys of lush presence flings the remix into a dive of the deepest deep.

This is a real belter, both mixes working really well. Milton’s stuff is always on point anyway, so there’s no surprise that this is surefire floor fodder. Meanwhile Matt’s original mix sounds like is was produced specifically to play in the 2nd room at Bugged Out in Manchester, so it will duly be hammered in there! Proper deep house for proper clubs....

The original has a cool vibe, but the Milton Jackson remix is totally my pick.. The Scottish house don has been turning out some quality gear of late and this is no exception.. Infact, it’s poss his best remix in recent years.. A fantastic, warm, soulful, bouncey groover! Full support!
SCOPE - Urbantorque / NRK

Hi guys,

‘’Two very nice contrasting versions and a lovely balance between night and day! Milton’s mix would be my personal taste with its carefree driving groove and ghostly synth touches. Very hard to keep still when this one’s playing as it a bouncy one.’’

Darran Nugent
Aruba/Elevation Recordings

Solid Package all round. Milton's mix is the one for me though.
Matt Masters is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with.
Loving the work. Full support.
Maxime Cescau (Poussez/Artizan Music)

Nice bits ... original is freaky, indeed. Solid robotic funk with a bit of depth.
Milton Jackson mix is perhaps my pick here - the added melodic bits are nice and it has quite an effective drive to it -- I'm digging.
