Summer comes early this year at the Chrom Office with our newest release Calle: a brillant slow but super catchy vocal summer track from Marco Tegui. Marco Tegui was born in Lima, Peru. Since his early years he was interested in several musical instruments and genres. The extensive range of curation in his tracklists takes us on a journey synthesising world sounds with techno grooves. Marco Tegui is now based in The Capital Of Techno, Berlin, playing in clubs around the world and releasing tracks in the most emblematic labels such as Bar 25, Stil Vor Talent, Katermukke, Lump, Kindisch, Get Physical, Poesie, Toolroom, Smiley Fingers,... So it's a great honour to have him on board with Chrom! We also asked 3 remixers to give their own personal interpretation of the original track: The Note V, our main Mexican artist, Joss Martin, also from Mexico, and our own label manager Pedro Mercado together with Na Te.The first remix is made by one of our core members: Victor Ortiz aka The Note V who is on a roll lately. After his first European Live tour end of last year, where he performed in Berlin and ADE, Victor got a residency at the brandnew exciting Esto Es Tulum Festival earlier this year as part of the live band TreceVeinte (13:20). Victor adds some more deepness and atmosphere to the original track.Second remix comes from our own label manager Pedro Mercado & his female partner Na Te. Pedro & Na Te just released the fantastic ethno-house EP Aname on Chrom, so we needed to get them back together in the studio asap. In their typical deep tech style they turn Calle into a real club track. And finally the third remix is an intriguing downtempo interpretation delivered by Joss Martin. Joss is known for his worldwide DJ & Live sets usually under 115 bpm with a Techno base rhythm accomplishing a dynamic journey which he describes as: Thinking Body, Dancing Mind.
