Dossa & Locuzzed return for the next part of their seminal single series, all leading up to their forthcoming album due to drop this autumn. The Austrian pair has become two of the most notable figures to come through in recent years, primarily due to the fusion of funk, soul and drum & bass which has provided a breath of fresh air throughout the wider dance music community. And after dropping their most recent single alongside pivotal figure DJ Marky, as well as using this to lead their 'Resonate' LP announcement, they're set to capitalise on this success through two brand new tracks; 'Blinded' and 'Starship'.

Making another entrance on Futurebound's Viper Recordings, a label which boasts over fifteen years in the game and has built the careers of many elite figures within its field, they've become an imperative part of their roster with their music demonstrating why this is. Beginning the single is 'Blinded', with strung-out note patterns and layers of funk which sits beneath a bassline that slowly begins to roll out underneath the mix. The influences of Dossa & Locuzzed are easy to hear throughout tracks like 'Blinded', whilst they utilise the streaming vocals of Patch Edison throughout its intro. Having met the duo in Vienna, where he performs with many international DJs, Patch Edison provides another insight into his skillset, moving away from his lyrical prowess with euphoric, sing-song vocals.

'Starship' presents a reverse which packs more of a punch, without losing any of the record's dancefloor edge. It highlights a side of Dossa & Locuzzed not yet unveiled within their recent string of singles, with drums that propel the track forward and synthesis which gives it a lighter hue. Together, both 'Blinded' and 'Starship' present yet more of the diversity forthcoming on 'Resonate'. This is one of the elements which has garnered them so much attention over recent months, as well as one of the primary reasons why Viper have invested in their growth from the beginning.
