Mentored by superstar producer and fellow Pole, Kobana, Kacper Kostecki's "21st Century Symphony" saw an exhilarating end to the year for Particles that now receive a sextet of remixes from seasoned and newcomer producers from across the globe.

Finding favour with such labels as Manual Music and Fever, Dutch producer, Olaf Stuut, from the Amsterdam capital kicks off proceedings with a clever reworking on Kostecki's original. The angular melodic struts of the original are help in check with a delicious straight rhythm, emotive bass line and intriguingly filtered arpeggio that wends itself effortlessly along a twisting path in the latter movements.

Japanese artist Hiroshi Watanabe's unrivalled career in the music industry has led his work to feature for game giants PlayStation and Konami alongside a strong relationship with techno giants, Kompakt. Following up a remix of Mango's "Chasing Birds" for Proton Music, Kaito's interpretation of "21st Century Symphony" juxtaposes a dominant rolling rhythm with a shimmering symphonic motif that balances delicately with counterpoint melodies that drift enticingly along a delicious seven-minute journey.

Grammy nominated US producer, Terry Grant, has had an illustrious career featuring on such prestigious imprints as Nettwerk and Bedrock. A reputation forged on a "deep, soulful, melodic sound", Grant's remixes of Silinder in October 2013 are now followed by a retro-tinged remix of "Flashing Button". TB-303 inspired acid rhythms sit squarely against a melodic motif that skips along with freeform keys, while house beats and squelched bass line complete a funk-fuelled picture of unadulterated joy.

With work featured on Nick Warren's "Renaissance: Masters Series" compilation and supported by the likes of Sasha and Tenaglia, Grant Collins and his Excession moniker saw 2014's "Twilight" debut for Proton Music herald a new dawn. Tackling "21st Century Symphony", the Excession remix follows the contours of the Kostecki's original with its deep melodic vibe, while simultaneously introducing a series of new motifs that blend seamlessly against shuffling hi-hat rhythms to create a work of subtle nuance.

Argentinean, Demian Moreno, has forged a strong relationship with the Balkan Connection imprint since a debut remix in 2010. Going on to regularly feature with original and remix material, fellow countryman Hernan Cattaneo has been a regular supporter. Reprising a remix of Andrew Benson's "Dope" in autumn 2013, Moreno's remix sees the lusciously layered, symphonic sounds of Kosctecki's original, allied with stripped back beats and soft rhythmic stabs to create a work of simple beauty.

Polish producer Olrg Szyszkin E.F.G. has created quite a name for himself through his work for such imprints as Electronic Tree and Passion Fruit. A combination of "deep basslines and techno blips" are characterised in his work and nowhere are such predilections apparent than in his remix of "21st Century Symphony". A subterranean bass provides instant groove as delicate rhythms plays host to teasing melodic elements from Kostecki's original, combined with emotive additional production to create a driving, dynamic work.

Six remixes have created a new appreciation of Kacper Kostecki's "21st Century Symphony".
