The excellent Yaya Records recruit deadly duo Rone White & Alessandro Diruggiero with a pair of great new originals backed up with remixes from rising talents Antony PL & Motion Sky. The prolific Belgo/Italian collaborators have been dominating the Beatport charts over the last year and gaining the support of the likes of Waff, Marco Carola, Stacey Pullen, Jamie Jones & many more. With an incredible knack of producing top class groove laden rollers, the pair have seen their music land on labels such as Kinetika, NoExcuse, Datagroove, New Violence & Distance Music.
The opener Wombah is heavy rolling big hitter with chunky percussion, shredded vocal FX and a gritty, nagging synth pulling you into it's web. Antony PL is one of the new wave of Greek artists making a name for himself in the Deep Tech scene. His remix ups the tempo and brings heavy duty synth work and an altogether darker vibe than the original. Edinburgh based Motion Sky bring their rattling and energy packed vibe to the table with a remix that makes clever use of the original's vocal and delivers some outstanding drum work that is guaranteed to be a winner on the dance floor.
Closing the EP is The Definition, a more laid back groover filled with subtle atmospheres and wooden hits that build & build to deep synths and a mysterious female vocal that weaves in & out of delay arpeggio. Quality Stuff.
