Italian producer Temperat lands on Familia for the first time with his Shaky Ankle EP
Shaky Ankle is produced in collaboration with Daniele Mecci. A strong kick drum, a deep, dark bass and the Roland 303 bassline are the foundations of the track along with an uplifting '80s synth and a chasing arpeggio. A glitched vocal beckons over the undulating acid infused soundscape.
Fusion's melody and sharp incisive rhythm build to a dramatic break before proudly swirling back to the fore. All in all a bold, driving, hypnotic, peak-time affair.
Papillon starts it's journey with mystery and hypnotic repetition. The musical theme holds firmly as the counter melodies swirl around it and the vocal enters, fluttering, soaring above.
Efalonisi has a more laid back, understated feel with it's chords sequence and elongated, lazy synth line. The track is inviting, hooky and warm
Overal A diverse EP filled with heart felt tracks that are unquestionably designed to move the spirit, feet (and ankles!) at the same time
