Born in Italy, grown up in London, St. David has shaped his passion for analog samplers developing his ideas for dusty house patterns and old school grooves with influences ranging on 90’s mood. Moved by a strong interest in cassette, live jams and tape saturation, St. David, real name Davide Disanto hails from the south of the Italy, most likely crafting his crisp 90’s house sounds in some enviable, sun-soaked location starts working onto a variety of projects focusing mainly on vintage equipment and recording techniques aimed to research is own flavour. The results of this research conveyed, in 2016, where he’s going to release different ep’s on well named labels like Let’s Play House (USA), Unknown Chicago (USA), Frole Recs.(IT).
In 2018 St. David returns to NYC’s renowned Let’s Play House imprint with a stack of jacking dancefloor stompers via his aptly titled ‘House Jam’ EP.
In 2019 his sound idea find a real home when he opens his own records label called “Theory Of Swing” strictly on vinyl, where he will focus all the sound that he really loved publishing the first EP “The Groove” with a pack of 5 Old School House Cuts directly from his killer MPC2000xl.
