Born in Iran in 1972, but since the early eighties a citizen of Denmark, it was a musical heritage in his family that firmly embedded that passion in the head of Nima.
DJ in Copenhagen since a teenager, he began a residency at the Rust Club, where he played alongside a number of international artists, including Kerri Chandler and Kevin Yost.
Same time, he produces his first releases – as Black Powder and garnered interest from the international dance community. Another production pseudonym – Manijama – provided the commercially successful release ‘No No No’, on Defected Records in 2003, and lead him to his current home, Ibiza.
A resident there since 2005, Nima has since established himself as a guardian of underground music on the island, becoming a regular DJ at Space, Privilege and Pacha, and see his talent recognized by wining the Ibiza DJ award in 2010. Since then he has built an extensive release history, as the demand for his talents as producer or remixer strengthens. This includes the launching of his own label NG Trax, and a production catalog that encompasses the very best of contemporary underground labels, such as Get Physical, Fuse London, Bla Bla, Body parts... to name few of them.
His music and passion behind the decks continue to stir the imagination and hearts of his fans, while expanding an ever busy DJ scheduled with tours and gigs lined up around the globe.
