Born in Zurich (Switzerland) in 1980, Angelo Bott got in touch with electronic music during the early 90s. It was not until 1996 that he started DJing in local youth clubs. After doing numerous gigs, playing other producer’s records was not enough anymore. He started to produce and soon got his first remix released on a 12-inch.
Over the coming years, Angelo released various own productions as well as remixes which received support by the international DJ elite, namely by the likes of Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Above & Beyond, M.I.K.E. and Markus Schulz, just to name a few. Besides co-hosting a radio show on di.fm, Angelo closed a deal with one of Switzerland’s biggest airlines, Belair. In 2005, more than 400‘000 passengers were able to enjoy his mixes aboard the planes via the inflight audio channels.
Playing his last DJ gig in 2007, the coming year marked a change. Leaving the faster years behind, it was time to take another direction. His productions got heavily supported by the well known French artist David Vendetta who also licensed a production for his Pacha Ibiza compilation. Furthermore, David asked Angelo to remix two of his album tracks. During the same period, Angelo also remixed the famous „Cry“ by System F (Ferry Corsten).
There would be plenty of other stuff to mention but just let the music speak…
